I used to have some kind of process using VirtualDub a long time ago, I think, that would usually shrink a massive video file size down by like 80% or something crazy and it would still look really good. I have the high efficiency file type turned on and have since it was introduced, so I believe that's HVEC or something. These are all videos imported from my iPhone, from 2007 all the way through the present, so they're 480p-4K in range and I think the newer ones use a different codec or something? H.265 maybe? I just know that they're all. It would take me far, far too long to go through all of them and start deleting the ones that aren't needed, too, so I'd much rather just sort of compress them in bulk and shrink the collective 88GB down to something a bit more manageable. That "so much" is very relative, given the sub that I'm on right now, because I'm sure 88GB doesn't sound like much but I'm poor and don't have much storage and can't afford/nor have the room to get any more right now.
